as far as lighter or smaller, i am not for sure. i do know that if you put a remote line on your tank it makes a biiiig difference.  i personally like the tank on my marker, cuz then i can rest it on my shoulder as i shoot.  smaller, well there is the tippman 98.  its a decent marker, and there are plenty of upgrades to make it like the a-5 or x7.  but that is alot of money, when you can just buy the a-5 for just a little more than the 98.  i think that it is a smart choice to buy an a-5. then i can show you some neat tricks to make it more effecient and shoot better.

I was looking at getting a x7 before i went with Dangerous Power, but you can get a a5 which is almost the same thing as a X7 and cost less. You can find a a5 with RT for $200-$230 w/o like $180.00.

I have no problems with my Dangerous Power and i have played in the rain. I just a few user error problems and require more maintenance.

This is just a few marker choices, but just stay away from the sub 100 markers they dont last, Tippmanns last forever but can be a little bulky, and elec markers you have to worry about getting them wet. Please get with me after you made your choice and before you buy.
